Priya Alti and Basabi Bhaumik Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Haus Khas, New Delhi-110016, India [email protected], bhaumik @ee.iitd.ernet.in Abstract A grid based neural network global router to route nets in presence of obstcales is presented. This algorithm can handle obstacles of equal hight and different widths. It can be used for routing in gate arrays, FPGAs and standard cell layout. A neural model to avoid routing of wire thorugh crowded region is suggested. This is used to ripup and reroute the wire which passes through the crowded region.
